Founded
in 1946, Standard Furniture started as and continues to be a family-
owned and operated business. Our company remains one of the few
American-based furniture manufacturers and distributors providing
bedrooms, dining rooms, occasional tables, entertainment centers and
leather furniture to over 3,000 retailers nationwide.
Our plants
are located in Bay Minette and Frisco City, Alabama. Our distribution
centers located in Alabama and California allow us to serve retailers
nationwide.
As a leading furniture company Standard Furniture
also has an outstanding Import Furniture Division to complement our
massive domestic production. Standard Furniture has over 200 team
members stationed overseas holding our manufacturing partners to strict
quality and manufacturing principles for all products brought to the
United States.
Our US workforce of over 1,800 employees is
focused on designing, manufacturing and delivering the best possible
products. Their goal is to bring quality, value, functionality, and
safety to these beautiful designs.
In 2001 Standard Furniture
joined forces with the business family of Kathy Ireland Home. Today we
are part of a group of over 10 manufacturers in varied categories who
together develop products following the brand’s mission statement of
“…finding solutions for families, especially busy moms.” Kathy Ireland
Home products include, home and office furniture, top of bed, rugs,
carpets and flooring, lighting and accessories, bedding, silks and
