Cancellations You may cancel your order for a
full refund anytime before the 2 days preceding your scheduled pickup.
No refunds will be issued for items you receive. All sales are final
upon confirmation that item has been shipped.
Refunds A
Full Refund will be issued if order is canceled within the
cancellation period mentioned in the "Cancellations" section. Gift
certificates cannot be refunded. We cannot accept C.O.D. packages.
Most refunds are processed within a day or two of receipt. Refunds
issued after receipt of furniture shall fall under policy outlined in
the "Returns" section.
Returns Satisfaction
is guaranteed* Returns and a refund will be issued if for any reason
you are not satisfied with the furniture. Customer will be responsible
for full actual round trip shipment costs and also 15% restocking fee.
If damaged (please see "Damages"
section for further details).
RMA Return Merchandise Authorization
number must be issued per Affordable Furniture LLC's discretion. Item
must be returned in original packaging, unopened and in new condition.
No
return shipments will be accepted other than those authorized by
Affordable Furniture with a RMA number. Unauthorized shipments to
Affordable Furniture will be refused and you will be fully liable for
ship to and return shipping costs. Returns must be returned within 1
week of authorization date, authorization may be canceled.
If in
rare instances where you receive the wrong item, do not accept the
item. When the carrier drops off the item they will have you sign a
delivery receipt, please note in your own words on the form which item
is incorrect and refuse that item, call us right away (within 24 hours)
and we will have the product replaced.
Orders for returns can only be
picked up Monday - Friday between 9am-5pm, please have someone
available over 18 yrs of age for the pickup agent during the scheduled
date. If Saturday pickup must be arranged then extra costs will be
accessed varying upon the actual costs which will be billed to the
shipper.
If items are returned damaged or incomplete then the buyer
will be charged a 50% damage fee.
Inspection of Delivery & Damages All
shipments are insured against damage. The furniture is yours and also
the Common Carrier's responsibility to transport it to you in a safe
and timely fashion. To mitigate rare instances that
you may receive a damaged shipment it is your responsibility to fully
inspect your shipment/furniture with the delivery personnel present.
Signs of damage include visible tears, dents, holes, etc in outer
packaging. If you ordered Basic Delivery please ask the driver to stay
until you open the package to inspect the contents to ensure that there
is no further damage to the furniture within. It is your responsibility
to note all damages present at time of delivery or you will be
responsible for all replacement and repair costs. Any damage caused
from shipping must be noted on the delivery receipt or the insurance
cannot be claimed - No Exceptions!! If you sign for the Proof Of
Delivery with no comments that means you are signing it to be "Free and
Clear." When your order arrives, please take the time to ensure the
paperwork is accurate and that the correct item(s) and number of
cartons have been delivered.
IF THERE IS APPARENT SERIOUS DAMAGE
PLEASE REFUSE DELIVERY IN FULL AND NOTE IN DETAIL ON THE DRIVER'S
PAPERWORK THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE. You will also be asked to take
pictures of the damage closeup and of the packaging, and the full view
of the item that was damaged.
Any
claim of damage that is not noted on the Bill of Lading is your
responsibility to pursue directly with the Trucking Company. KEEP
DAMAGED FURNITURE IN ORIGINAL PACKAGING UNTIL FURTHER INSTRUCTED.
Please contact us in writing at support@myaffordablefurniture.com within 24 (business) hours with Subject Line: "DELIVERY DAMAGED".
We
reserve the right to repair furniture in customer's home or accept
return for repair and/or replacement. Regretfully, we can only
authorize full refund in the rare event when we are unable to repair or
replace (or find replacement part for) the item.
We also expect
our customers to accept delivery appointment for any repairs or
replacement furniture to complete the order process.
Exchanges No exchanges will be issued. Merchandise Sold "As is" or "Clearance"
are FINAL & will not be eligible for warranty, exchange, allowance,
refund or service. Assembly Assembly
is required on most items as they come delivered in boxes for your
furniture’s protection. Some items may not require assembly however
some will require some light assembly and sometimes does not require
any tools at all. If it does require tools you can usually get the job
done with common household tools like screwdrivers, and hammers.

Delivery Expectations All shipments are shipped
via Local Delivery Service, UPS, LTL, or White Glove Delivery upon
request. The carrier will call you to schedule a time and date for
delivery. Small items such as bar stolls, ottomans, end tables, will
all be shipped through UPS. Most orders will be shipped within 7-15
business days and between the times of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through
Friday (Saturday deliveries $85 extra and not available in all areas),
while some orders may take up to 5 weeks. Any time specified shipping
methods (example: overnight service) are only guaranteed to ship by the
day agreed. We have no control over delivery dates and therefore make
no promises or guarantees as to the delivery company performing as it
promises. If your delivery will be delayed Affordable Furniture will
notify you in the even that this happens. If an item is on back order
we will contact you within 24 hours of your order and advise of the
estimated time of delivery. We are pleased to offer
delivery service NATIONWIDE* to you or another person over age 18,
please clear your schedule in advance to be available ALL DAY for the
date of delivery. Prior to your delivery, you will be notified of a
5-hour time frame within which your delivery should be expected to
arrive; however, we cannot honor specific time frame requests. If in a
special circumstance (if available in your area) you need to schedule a
specific time for delivery an $85 fee will be charged. Important - in
the event that you are not at home for your scheduled delivery and a
redelivery is necessitated, Affordable Furniture may assess a
redelivery fee. Unsuccessful attempts due to negligence of the customer
will be charged a fee of $50.00 per customer per attempt/occurance.
You
are responsible for clearing the room into which the merchandise is to
be placed. Affordable Furniture/or any Contracted Freight Company
employee cannot move any furniture in your home to other floors, to the
garage or curbside, including any electronics. You are responsible for
notifying Affordable Furniture in advance of any special requirements
related to your delivery (e.g., delivery to an apartment with no
elevator, need to remove door hinges, elevator reservation for high
rises) a special delivery fee may be assessed for any such special
delivery requirement. Visible merchandise damage or home damage must be reported to our Customer Service Department at (877) 888-5583 or support@myaffordablefurniture.com within 24 hours of receipt. (see “Damages” section for more detail. Delivery to Hawaii, Alaska, Washington and Rhode Island are also not available. We apologize for the inconvenience.
A additional $100.00 surcharge per shipment for zip codes in
Louisiana (700, 701, 702, 703, 704, 705, 707, 708) and Mississippi
(394, 395, 396) will be charged on top of the initial shipment cost.
Available Delivery Services The level of delivery service can be specified in your order. If no
specification is made by calling ahead of time to (877)888-5586 or
emailing support@myaffordablefurniture.com
or at the time at of the order the delivery method specified on the
item page and check out will be provided. Affordable Furniture will
reserve the right to specify “White Glove Deluxe” delivery for Mirrors
and other fragile and large pieces to insure the safety of your
purchase. Affordable Furniture is not responsible for damages made by
the freight/delivery service. Claims will be made to the contractor in
your behalf by Affordable Furniture. Please be sure to stay available
at the scheduled delivery time. Please note that Fedex and many other
delivery companies charge a surcharge for Saturday deliveries; if you
would like to arrange a Saturday delivery, please email for additional
pricing. If the recipient is notified of a delivery date, and the
recipient is not there to meet the shipper and accept the package, the
recipient will be responsible for any and all 'redelivery' charges that
may apply.
Basic: This is a one or two person delivery to the
threshold (sidewalk/driveway/or your garage.) They are able to carry
the item up to two flights of stairs maximum (ie. If you live in an
apartment, condo, or townhome.) You will have to make arrangements to
receive the package or have someone at your home or business to receive
the package and bring it into the home.
White Glove :
Inside delivery to the room of choice, unpacking, up to 30* minutes of
assembly with tools with debris removal. The set up time is 30* minutes
and items can be carried only up to two flights of stairs.
*Setup services that exceed fifteen (15) minutes will be charged at a rate of $80.00 per hour or fraction thereof.
